Gameindustry.biz reported that Wii is currently selling at a ratio of 4:1 to Xbox 360 and 6:1 to PS3, if the ratio retains, Wii will surpass the total sales of GameCube by the end of September 2007.

Sony has pushed back the release date of Factor 5's Playstation 3 action game Lair to September 9, 2007 in US, the company wants to use more time to improve the quality of the game and online functions.

Bandai Namco announced its Xbox 360 exclusive action game Beautiful Katamari Damacy will be available in Japan on October 18, 2007; a playable demo will be released on August 22, 2007.

Joystiq reported that Best Buy no longer carries Xbox 360 Core Systems, only the Xbox 360 Premium Pack and Xbox 360 Elite will be available.

Square Enix will release the DS strategy RPG Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Fuuketsu no Grimoire in Japan on October 25, 2007.

Arc System Works announced Cho Nekketukoukou Kuniokun Dodgeball for Nintendo DS, a new installment of Technos Japan's classic dodgeball game from 1987. The game will have various new elements, such as over 100 special moves, and the ability to attack the opponents with weapons, punch and kicks. There is also a melee mode, in which up to 8 players fighting in the school yard. Cho Nekketukoukou Kuniokun Dodgeball supports up to 8 players over Wi-Fi connection.
